Many fellow students have asked me how to get started in science writing, and I’ve always had to write a long email because I couldn’t find any online resources that said “Look at The Open Notebook” or “submit an essay to one of these four magazines” instead of advice that skipped 5 steps and went right to “apply for an internship!”
But now that resource exists because Bri Barbu and I wrote it! We hope this helps people, especially science students who don’t know any science writers already.
